Overview
Our schools’ doors opened in 1968 with the desire to experience first-hand all of the marvelous thrills and excitement that exists in a child’s world. Our founders recognized the tremendous amount of learning that takes place over the course of a child’s developmental years and endeavored to provide programs that would offer the essential support and promote emotional, physical, and social growth. We believe that we have an opportunity to influence much of what will happen to the children as they go through elementary school, middle school, and then on to adult life. It is our goal to provide an environment that encourages maximum development for children, as positive experiences during the early years lead to much greater success in the future.
Our program provides an atmosphere to enrich your children’s learning as well as to help them explore new, exciting learning experiences. Our goal is to allow children the opportunity to expand their knowledge, to learn about their capabilities, and to develop positive ways to express themselves. One of the important differences in our philosophy is that we have remained committed to placing a particular kind of caregiver in our schools. We are proud of the fact that we have nurturing caregivers who encourage self-discovery and creativity, and who seek to provide a positive and supportive environment for each child. At Action Day Schools, it is exceedingly important that a child enters each day knowing they will be taken care of by someone they trust and who genuinely cares for him or her.
