Sarah Holloway, Site Director
Sarah began working for working for Action Day Primary Plus in spring 1996. After holding several teaching and Assistant Director positions within the company, she became the Mt. View School’s Infant Center Director before moving to Pruneridge: a position she has held for over a decade. Sarah loves working with children of all ages and loves the close-knit environment at Pruneridge, which she feels allos her to interact with all of the children and families of her school on a daily basis. She enjoys seeing the children reach developmental and academic milestones and strives to create a balanced, nurturing environment for the children to grow and to learn.
Pruneridge School History
The doors of Action Day Nursery first opened for preschool children on August 12, 1968. The Pruneridge School in Santa Clara was the first Action Day Nursery school to be opened. It was the goal of the owners to provide a healthy, creative environment for young children. The center is made up of two former residences that have been converted into an intimate child care facility designed for the enjoyment of young children. Large outdoor play areas provide for many developmentally appropriate activities
Children are divided into age groups for various preschool activities. Dance and enrichment activities are available.
West Valley Dance Company offers a wide selection of dance classes year-round for all ages, from 18 months to school age at all ADPP locations. Offering a professional education that caters to individual pace and growth, our roots are in the passion of teaching, and the staff at WVDC understands the importance of a child’s development at any age – ensuring our lessons go beyond those of the dance studio. Our staff will collect your child from their classroom and walk them to their onsite studio. At the end of class, they will walk them back to their classroom.
