Melissa Chapa, Preschool Director
Melissa started working for Action Day Primary Plus in the beginning of 2014 as the Director for our Phelan location before moving to El Quito as our Preschool Director in June of 2018. Prior to working for ADPP, Melissa was a behavioral interventionist for autistic children and a preschool teacher for several years. Soon, it was clear that her experience working with young children and her BA in Early Childhood Education made her the ideal candidate for the role of Preschool Director. Melissa loves working with children of all ages and loves the close-knit environment of ADPP. Her passion is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the children. Melissa loves interacting with all of the children and families of her school on a daily basis, and feels fortunate to be surrounded by the smiling faces of the children, parents, and staff each day as they enter and depart the campus.
Lorena Lopez, Infant Center Director
Lorena first began working for Action Day Primary Plus after graduating from San Jose State University with her B.A. in Child & Adolescent Development in summer of 2014. She started as a Care Giver in Phelan Infant Center, where she truly developed a passion for young children and building relationships with families. Since beginning at El Quito in February 2015, Lorena strives to create a fun, safe, and nuturing environment for all children who enter her center. She knows how exciting it is witness how quickly children grow and develop, and looks forward to helping each child reach their individual milestones.
