Work Experience
For the past two years I was the Educational Technology Specialist at Louise Van Meter School in Los Gatos and a long-term substitute for the 4th grade. I have worked as an English instructor for all ages, with a focus on language development and writing. I have been teaching an online course for the University of San Diego since 2002 called “First and Second Language Acquisition and Development for the K-12 Teacher”.

About Me
I grew up in Boston and then after college spent a year living in Denmark and one in Russia teaching English. I speak some German, Danish, French and Russian. My husband is a computer engineer and we have two daughters (8 and 6) who keep us very busy!
