1. Where are you from?
I am originally from Sao Paolo, Brazil.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been for just over a month!
3. What is your childcare background
and experience?
I volunteered in a First Grade classroom for five years while I was
finishing my Child Development degree at SJSU.
4. What do you like most about your
job?
The
kids make me happy and have the most interesting things to say about life.
They make me laugh on a daily basis.
5. What do you think is special
about your ADPP location?
The
parents are very involved in their children’s academic success and the staff
here understands each other. We
are a happy family!
6. What is your favorite part of the
day at ADPP?
My
favorite part of the day is doing arts and crafts with the students and
being able to see their creative side.
7. What is the last book you read
out loud?
Chika, Chika, 123.
8. What is the last book you read to
yourself?
The
Harry Potter series.
9. What do you do in your spare
time?
I
take care of my two dogs. I play
a lot with them in my down time.
10. What achievement are you most
proud of?
I am
most proud of graduating soon from SJSU.

What
should children look forward to doing/learning in the preschool classrooms?
Children
should look forward to learning the fundamentals in a way that is fun and
not just doing worksheets all day long.

What is the single best piece of advice you can give parents of preschooler?
Be
involved in your preschooler’s life.
They can teach you a thing or two about life and remind you of the
pure innocence that surrounds us.
