1. Where are you from?
I am from Boulder Creek, CA.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been a part of Action Day for about thirteen years.
3. What is your teaching background and experience?
I attended De Anza College and West Valley College. I completed twenty four
units of child development courses. Having all those units does not even
compare to thirteen years of on hand experience!

What do you like most about your job?
It is very rewarding in a caring and fun loving atmosphere. Even on the
toughest day, you are guaranteed a good laugh from one of the kids.

What do you think is special about your ADPP location?
I personally believe it is a beautiful campus with a very committed and
devoted staff.

What is your favorite part of the day at ADPP?
My favorite part of the day is when the children just wake up from their
naps. They are in a very calm state and are looking for comfort and quiet
stories.
7. What is the last book you read out loud?
Puff the Magic Dragon.

What is the last book you read to yourself?
I last read, Breaking Dawn, by Stephanie Meyer.
9. What is the funniest thing a child has said/done in
your class?
A child in my class once danced with fantastic rhythm to a Michael Jackson
song.
10. What do you do in your spare time?
I spend a lot of time with family and friends. I love to dance and listen to
music.

What achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of enjoying my job to the fullest and helping to guide
children in a positive direction.
12. What should children look forward to doing/learning
in preschoolers?
I believe they should gain more self confidence and independence. It is
great for them to know there is so much they can do on their own.

What is the single best piece of advice you can give parents of
preschoolers?
Try to have a lot of patience and try to be good listeners so you can
continue to guide your child for their individual needs.
14. Do you have any healthy lunch ideas?
A healthy idea is macacroni and cheese with green beans and chicken meat.
15. Do you have any learning to read tips or other
useful tips for parents of preschoolers?
My best piece of advice is to be very active in your child’s life but also
give them the space they need to grow in order to be happy and healthy
individuals.
