Fabiola from Moorpark1. Where are you from?
I am from San Jose, California.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been with ADPP for four years and three months.
3. What is your childcare background and experience?
I have my ECE degree plus I have about four years experience with young
toddlers and about one year and a half year with preschoolers.
4. What do you like most about your job?
I like the smiles, the milestones, and bonding with the children and their
families.
5. What do you think is special about your ADPP location?
I think the Moorpark families and the loving staff are the most special
about Moorpark.
6. What is your favorite part of the day at ADPP?
My favorite part of the day is lunchtime and afternoon play.
7. What is the last book you read out loud?
The Lady with an Alligator Purse.
8. What is the funniest thing a child has said/done in
your class?
One of the children climbed right into the doll’s highchair to eat. It was
very funny.
9. What do you do in your spare time?
I go to the park with my two sons, go to the beach or just relax.
10. What achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of meeting my ECE goals, becoming a mother to my two sons,
and working with the children.
11. What is the single best piece of advice you can give
parents of toddlers?
Have lots of patience, love, and flexibility.
12. Do you have any healthy lunch ideas?
Fruits and veggies are a must!
13. Do you have any discipline tips?
Try to redirect, always use simple words, and never say ‘no.’
