I am from Las Cruces, New Mexico.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been with ADPP for 12 ½ years.
3. What is your teaching background and experience?
I’ve been working with children for over 20 years.

What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy watching the babies grow and seeing their personalities blossom.

What do you think is special about your ADPP location?
My co-workers make the location special.

What is your favorite part of the day at ADPP?
My favorite part is in the morning, when the babies are dropped off.

What is the last book you read out loud?
“Are you my MOMMA?”

What is the last book you read to yourself?
I enjoy reading the paper.

What is the funniest thing a child has said/done in your class?
We had an 8 month old child just get up and start walking. She completely
skipped crawling.

What do you do in your spare time?
I spend time with my family and go on outings on the weekends.

What achievement are you most proud of?
I was an aide for the longest time and I went back to school to get my units
to become a teacher.

What should children look forward to doing/learning in the Infant Center
classrooms?
They can look forward to doing art, playing with friends and getting lots of
love from the staff.

What is the single best piece of advice you can give parents of toddlers?
Try to introduce bottles before starting your child in school.
14.
Do you have any learning to walk tips or other useful tips for new parents?
Children need good shoes that will support their ankles and arches when they
learn how to walk and at the early stages of walking. Sandals are not that
supportive.
