1. Where are you from?
I was born and raised in San Jose, California.
2. How long have you been with ADPP?
I have been with Action Day for about 4 and ½ years.
3. What is your teaching background and
experience?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and I have been teaching
preschool for 11 years.
4. What do you like most about your job?
I like watching the children grow and teaching them the fundamentals of Pre-Kindergarten.
5. What do you think is special about your ADPP
location?
We have a big location with infants to children who are 5 years old.
6. What is your favorite part of the day at ADPP?
Art is my favorite activity of the day because I enjoy seeing the kid’s
creativity.
7. What is the last book you read out loud?
Thanksgiving Day.
8. What is the funniest thing a child has said/done
in your class?
A child was scratching her head and she said, “I’m itchy, how rude is that?”
9. What do you do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my family and friends plus I enjoy shopping.
10. What achievement are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, my marriage, and
our 6 year old daughter.
11. What should children look forward to
doing/learning in pre-kindergarten?
Children will learn to write their name, recognize the alphabet and numbers 1
– 30, and make new friends.
12. What is the single best piece of advice
you can give parents of pre-kindergartners?
The best thing to do is to practice the ABCs and numbers as much as
possible with their children.
13. Do you have any healthy lunch ideas?
Yes, try fruits and vegetables with dip.
