Goals for the School Year:

It is my goal to have each and every student learn to appreciate the history and geography of the world. I understand that every student learns differently so I use many different teaching techniques throughout the year including reading, speech, debate, testing, reports, art, videos, and games. I try to reach a balance between consistency of my expectations with a variety of teaching methods to keep my students interested and in a positive state of mind.

Homework Expectations and Procedures

Students will typically have about 20 minutes of homework Monday thru Thursday evenings. Very rarely students will have a project to work on over the weekend. I email homework home every night and encourage students to use the assignment notebooks given to them on the first day of school. Parents are encouraged to check these assignment notebooks nightly.
