The doors of Action Day Nursery first opened for preschool children on August 12, 1968. The Pruneridge School in Santa Clara was the first Action Day Nursery school to be opened. It was the goal of the owners to provide a healthy, creative environment for young children. The center is made up of two former residences that have been converted into an intimate child care facility designed for the enjoyment of young children. Large outdoor play areas provide for many developmentally appropriate activities.
Children are divided into age groups for various preschool activities. Dance and enrichment activities are available.
